No one can honestly quote a single figure for IVF before examining the husband and wife. The cost is built from several separate parts that differ from couple to couple: consultation and scans, medicines, the procedure itself, ICSI (special type of fertilization method) if it is needed, and freezing if there are embryos to store. Cost is often the real, practical question sitting underneath all the medical ones, and it deserves a plain answer. We would rather explain the structure of the bill honestly than dodge it with a vague "it depends, come in and we'll talk." The actual figure does still need a conversation, because it genuinely differs by patient, but the shape of it does not have to be a mystery.
Why an exact cost needs a consultation
Medicine requirement varies hugely by how your ovaries respond, which is only knowable once monitoring begins. Whether ICSI is needed depends on the semen report. Whether embryos need freezing depends on how the cycle goes. And some couples need a simpler, cheaper treatment first and never need a full IVF cycle at all. That is why an exact figure needs your consultation and reports first.
What the bill is actually made of
Consultation and monitoring
The first visit, and the scans through the cycle, most of which can be planned close to where you live. You can consult our fertility specialist at whichever Heartbeats clinic suits you: Panjim, Margao, Mapusa or Vasco.
Medicines
The part that varies most from person to person. It depends on ovarian reserve, how you respond, and how many days of stimulation are needed. This is why a real estimate can usually only be given once your reports, and often your monitoring, are underway — not before.
The procedure itself
Egg collection and embryo transfer, done in our own embryology laboratory and IVF theatre in Goa.
ICSI, if needed
A separate step, added only when the semen report calls for it.
Freezing and a later transfer
If there are embryos beyond the one being transferred, freezing them is a separate, later cost, not part of the first bill. The same goes for a later frozen embryo transfer. Both happen only with your agreement.
What we do before you spend anything
We give an itemised estimate once your specific case is known, not a package sold before any test. If a simpler, cheaper treatment such as ovulation induction or IUI is a reasonable first step, we say so, rather than moving straight to IVF. If IVF is genuinely the right answer, we would rather you understand the honest shape of the cost before you commit than discover it in pieces afterward.
A caution worth reading before you shop by price
The cheapest quote is not automatically the right one. Ask what the price actually includes, whether ICSI and freezing are extra, and who will personally perform your procedure.

Why can't I get a fixed price over the phone?
Because the single biggest cost, medicines, depends on how your own body responds, which is not known until we do a complete examination. we give an individualized treatment plan to every patient, and hence we cannot give you a generic costing.
Is ICSI always included in the IVF cost?
No. It is a separate step, added only when the semen report shows it is needed.
Does freezing embryos cost extra?
Yes, and it happens later, only if there are embryos to freeze, and only with your agreement.
Will you suggest a cheaper treatment if it is likely to work?
Yes. If ovulation induction or IUI is a reasonable first step for you, we will say so rather than moving straight to IVF. Our doctor will give you the honest opinion about what should be the treatment that you should begin with.
Can I get an estimate before deciding anything?
Yes. Ask for an itemised estimate at your first visit, before you commit to a cycle.
Do you have EMI option?
Yes we have emi option for IVF treatment. We need your Adhar card and Pan card and then our financial department will contact you regarding your emi eligibility.
