What it costs — all-inclusive, no hidden extras
- IVF — ₹1,60,000 for one full cycle. Everything is in that one figure: all your egg-making injectables, the egg-collection consumables, the procedure and OT charges, anaesthesia, your hospital stay, doctor fees, lab fees, embryology fees, blastocyst culture, and freezing your embryos for up to six months. No hidden extras.
- Frozen embryo transfer (FET) — ₹40,000. Thawing and transfer of one blastocyst.
- IUI — ₹25,000. Done with fully imported consumables.
Why couples in Goa come to us
Our own laboratory and theatre
Your eggs are handled in our own embryology laboratory, inside our own hospital at Pai Hospital, Vaddem, Vasco, in a theatre nobody has to book from anyone else. Some clinics do not have a fully equipped laboratory that meets international standards; ours does.
Blastocysts, cultured as standard and included
An embryo can be placed on day three, or grown on in the laboratory to day five, when it becomes a blastocyst — the most developed, most viable stage an embryo reaches. Growing your embryos to that stage is our standard here, and it is already inside the price, with no separate charge.
Four clinics near home, and a free car for the one long trip
Consultations, scans and injections happen at whichever Heartbeats clinic is nearest you — Panjim, Margao, Mapusa or Vasco. Only two days of a whole cycle need the laboratory, and on those days we send a car for you, free of cost, to Vasco and home again.
One named doctor
Dr. Mayur Pai (MBBS, MS Obstetrics & Gynaecology, in practice fifteen years) does the consultations, scans and procedures himself. You are not passed from one face to the next. Three doctors are on board, so a routine scan is never lost because one of us is in theatre, and we use 100% disposables.
Micro-TESE when the report says no sperm
A "no sperm in the semen" report is not automatically the end. Dr. Pai performs micro-TESE, a search for sperm inside the testis under an operating microscope, which many centres cannot offer. Sperm are not found in every man, and we tell you that honestly. More on male infertility and micro-TESE.
OHSS prevention is our policy
OHSS (ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome) is a serious complication of the stimulation injections — the ovaries over-respond and the woman can become genuinely ill. We build every cycle around avoiding it: careful, individual dosing rather than chasing the highest egg count, close scanning, and a real willingness to freeze embryos or postpone a cycle. Where more than one embryo is placed, twins become possible; a twin pregnancy is harder on mother and babies, so we plan for one healthy baby at a time.
We do not oversell
If a simpler, cheaper treatment such as IUI is a reasonable first step, we say so instead of moving straight to IVF. And we will not promise you a baby — no honest clinic can. What we promise is an honest reading of your own situation, safe treatment, and every step explained before it happens.
Inside our embryology laboratory
The real, named equipment your embryos grow in sits in our own laboratory at Vasco — every piece imported, to international standards, and a list you can check. An embryo is a living cell that grows only in stable temperature, gas and cleanliness, and this equipment exists to hold those conditions steady so your embryos develop safely to the blastocyst stage.
- Heracell 150i CO2 incubator — a stable temperature and gas mix for the embryos.
- The first K Systems G185 multi-chamber incubator in Goa — each embryo sits in its own chamber, so opening one does not disturb the others.
- ICSI performed on a Nikon-Narishige micromanipulation system — a single sperm placed inside a single egg under fine microscope control.
- A clean-room laboratory kept under positive air pressure — filtered air flows outward, keeping dust and airborne particles away from the open dishes.
- A high-resolution, imported ultrasound machine — for precise follicle monitoring and scans.
- A backup incubator on standby — a second incubator so your embryos are never left without a stable home.
- A backup power supply — temperature and gas mix stay constant even through a power cut.

How much does IVF cost here?

Where is your laboratory, and where will my scans be?
The embryology laboratory and the operating theatre are at Pai Hospital, Vaddem, Vasco. Your scans and injections are at whichever Heartbeats clinic is nearest you: Panjim, Margao, Mapusa or Vasco. On the two days a cycle needs the lab, a car is sent for you, free of cost.
My husband's report says no sperm. Is a baby still possible?
Sometimes, yes. Micro-TESE, under an operating microscope, can find sperm in the testis when the semen has none. It is not found in every man, and that depends on the cause.
